Winnie & Ethel’s Downtown Diner is open seven days a week from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. daily.

*We kindly ask guests picking-up online orders to collect their online orders by 2:15 p.m. and guests dining in-restaurant to conclude their dining experience by 2:30 pm.
What methods of payment does the diner accept?
Winnie & Ethel’s accepts cash, credit cards, and digital wallets (e.g. Apple Pay & Google Wallet). Please note that some non-US diners digital payment methods may not be compatible with our point of sale system.
Does Winnie & Ethel's assess a Credit Card Processing Fee?
Yes, W&E applies a 2.5% processing fee to all credit card transactions. This fee is strictly limited to cover the costs we incur and will never exceed them. Guests who pay with a US debit card or cash will not incur a processing fee.
What are the details and restrictions for the Bottomless 25¢ House Blend Coffee and the Weekday Breakfast special?
The Bottomless 25¢ House Blend Coffee is a caffeinated house blend (not available in decaf) and must be purchased with an entrée valued at $10 or more. It is dine-in only and cannot be ordered to-go or online. Refills are available only until 11:00 AM, after which the bottomless offer ends. This promotion cannot be combined with any other discounts or offers, and guests are encouraged to upgrade to Mothership Roasters’ $5 bottomless coffee, which is available all day, every day.
The WEekday Breakfast special is available for $9.99 and includes one pancake, two slices of bacon, two eggs (any style), and one cup of house blend coffee. This offer is dine-in only and cannot be combined with any other discounts or promotions. The included coffee is limited to one cup only and is not eligible for the bottomless 25¢ coffee promotion. Decaf coffee is not available, and no substitutions are allowed. Additional cups of house blend coffee can be purchased for $3 each. Guests looking for a more substantial meal are encouraged to upgrade to the Diner Breakfast for additional options.

WE adore furry friends and welcome all service animals and family pups who are well behaved. If your dog is too excited or distriburing other guests or animals, we may ask that they come back to dine with us another time.

Currently, W&E does not offer outdoor seating.

Due to the nature of our food (1940s’ era diner classics) our vegan options are limited, but fear not – we’ve got a variety of vegetarian selections and will do our very best to work with our vegan friends!
Does Winnie & Ethel’s Downtown Diner offer plant-based milk options?
Due to the nature of our food (1940s’ era diner classics), we do not offer plant based milk options. However, you can always enjoy your coffee black or enjoy fresh squeezed orange juice, pop, beer, liquor, or good old-fashioned water.
What if I have a food allergy?

When is online ordering available?
Online ordering is available from Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 1:45 pm. During periods of high-volume service in the restaurant, we may suspend online ordering. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
What is the delivery radius for online ordering?
Winnie & Ethel’s uses Uber Direct via Toast Delivery Services. You are charged one flat fee per delivery of $6.99 for orders within 6 miles and $8.74.

Note: *The distance used to calculate Toast Delivery Services powered by Uber delivery fees is based on the straight-line distance (“as the crow flies”) between your restaurant and your guest. You must contact Toast Customer Care to request updates to the delivery radius for your restaurant management group.
Can I still place orders over the phone?
We have shifted all takeout and delivery orders to online ordering. If you are physically at the restaurant and prefer to place a to-go order from your table or the bar, you can still do so.
Can I pay for my online order when I pick it up/it is delivered?
No, all online orders must be paid for when you place your order.
What happens if I do not arrive before Closing Time to pick-up an online order?
We offer a 15-minute grace period after our scheduled closing time for online takeout order pick-up. If you do not arrive by 15 minutes after our scheduled closing time, we may not be able to honor your order pick-up and no refunds will be provided except in the case of extenuating circumstances.
Can I order Winnie & Ethel’s products through third-party delivery apps or websites?
No, Winnie & Ethel’s online ordering is exclusively available on our official website. We are not partnered with any third-party online ordering services. Please visit our website, www.winnieandethels.com, to place your takeout or delivery order directly with us.
Can I choose between takeout and delivery for my online orders?
Yes, you can choose takeout or delivery for your online orders. Guests can select the option that works best for them. Please note that a delivery fee of $7.49 will be added for the delivery option.
Can I Order alcoholic beverages online?
No, alcoholic beverages are not available for purchase via online ordering, whether for takeout or delivery.
What should I do if my delivery order does not arrive or is incorrect when it arrives?
If your delivery order does not arrive, please begin by contacting Winnie & Ethel’s at (725) 205-1831 to confirm the order was picked up. If it was picked up but has not been delivered, call the driver directly using the number provided in the Orders Hub. If a driver hasn’t been assigned or is unreachable, customers should contact Uber Direct at (866) 987-3750.
You may also contact Toast customer service at (617) 682-0225 for additional information. Winnie & Ethel’s is unable to troubleshoot order delivery issues after an order is collected by a delivery driver.
If your order arrived sealed with a Winnie & Ethel’s’ branded sticker and it is incorrect, please contact us at (725) 205-1831 for further assistance. Please note that we are unable to ensure the temperature of food if delivery is delayed or in the event that the delivery address is far removed from the restaurant.
If you order arrived with the seal broken or no seal, please contact Toast customer service at (617) 682-0225. All refunds due as a result of failed delivery or order error in the case of an unsealed bag must be issued by Toast.
